OUR OBJECTIVES
  • To provide and promote welfare, support and advocacy services for the people that are blind and physically handicapped
  • To grant free medical assistance to all our blind and physically handicapped students be it children/adults.
  • To provide free Food, Accommodation, Vocational training, Education, Computer training, Music training etc to our blind and physically handicapped students that come from poor families and enhance their quality of life.
  • To make blind and physically handicapped students self reliant by giving them vocational training.
  • 90% of our students living and studying in the institute are in the age group of below 15 yrs. Our institute's aim is to ensure that we provide a better life to these handicap children so that they have a bright future and thereby they can contribute towards the nation's economy.
  • To make sure that people of all kinds of disabilities get access to the basic needs of life.
  • Give visually impaired people access to new information techniques.
  • Guard against discrimination of disabled people in the society.
  • Rehabilitation and compensatory training of newly blinded people.
  • Vocational training and changing of attitudes to give unemployed handicap people a fair chance.
  • To make representations to Government and other agencies to improve services available to people that are blind.
